Aim :

Convert four bits Digital signal to an analog equivalent signal using Resistor network.

Multimeter, Dual power supply (15V), Op-Amp 741, resistors, Bread board, connecting wires.

Procedure :

Circuit by – Rajendra Kumar

  1. Calculate the feedback resistance from the given formula for the maximum output voltage (10V).
  2. Connect the circuit as shown in the circuit diagram.
  3. Apply the input bit combination as per observation table and note down the output voltage. 
  4. Repeat step-2 fall all entries mentioned in observation table. 
  5. At the end, compare the observed output voltage with theoretically calculated output voltage.
  6. Plot a graph of output voltage against decimal number.
