Aim :
To study Bistable multivibrator circuit.
Apparatus :
Build up circuit of transistorized Bistable multivibrator, square wave generator, dual trace CRO, power supply.

Procedure :

- Trace the circuit and write all component values.
- Make necessary connections and identify which transistor is ON and which is OFF. Check Toggling behaviour of the circuit. (First note collector voltage of Q1 and Q2. Now ground the base of transistor which is ON which will give to the ground and again note down the collector voltage.)
- Apply square wave trigger input. Study the waveforms at the input, at the base and collector of the output transistor for three different frequencies.
- Sketch all the waveforms on a graph paper in all the three cases.
- Find the minimum trigger voltage for each input frequency.
- Measure input and output frequency.
- Comment on the relation between input and output frequency.
